33 Cank Street

33 Cank Street is a temporary public art installation in the heart of Leicester City created by artist Shauna Richardson.

Richardson is best known for her realistic life-size taxidermy-style animal sculptures created using crochet, a unique body of work she calls Crochetdermy. A collection of her acclaimed works will be displayed in the ground floor rooms of this historic building from July 2013.

A full-size diorama, this ‘cabinet of curiosities’ is designed to be viewed through the windows of 33 Cank Street and St Martin’s Square.
